Josh Myers, Chief Instructor of Myers Martial Arts Academy has studied martial arts for over 20 years. Mr. Myers earned a third degree black belt in Shao-Lin Chuan Kung Fu under Master John Morrow and is one of his longest and best students.

A History of Learning

Mr. Myers has competed in several tournaments over the years earning 1st place in sparring, weapons forms and open handed forms including grand champion.

In June 2025, Mr. Myers traveled to Japan to test for first degree black belt in Iaido. Due to his passion for training and skill, he was awarded second degree black belt (Ni Dan).

In addition to his Shao-Lin Chuan Kung Fu training, Mr. Myers has learned aspects of Yoga and Qi Gong.
